HOW TO BUY GUNS AT AUCTION
In this short video I talk to Jonny Carter of YouTube Channel TGS about what to look out for when buying a shotgun at auction. Because time was short and you can’t possibly hope to remember everything you should have said the fact that a gun doesn’t move on the action when you wobble it (as I describe in the video doesn’t not necessarily mean it is tight on the action. You should hold it up to a light source as well to make sure there are no gaps between the breach and the face of the actions and between the bottom of the barrel and the flats of the action.
